With this program you can compare seasonals from any pair of commodities. Notice how the Unleaded Gas seasonal gains on the Heating Oil seasonal starting in January. This divergence in the seasonals points to the profitability of the Apr Unleaded Gas/Apr Heating Oil spread if purchased before January.

1. Pick the commodities and the months.

2. Select the number of years of data.

3. Select the number of cycles. Use 2 when looking for seasonal divergences. Otherwise use 1.

4. Select the chart type. The jpegs are faster; the applets are interactive (zooming in is possible and there are data popups).

5. Press "Get Chart". There's a lot of data to download, so be patient.
